S'more What?

Dear Sadie,

Lately.

Lately you are on the move. I can't even believe it! You are only 7 months which seems so early to me to be mobile, but you are determined little girl. You like to scoot yourself around wherever you need to go. You also love your new found skill of sitting up. You love being able to see more of what is going on around you. You often stay content for long amounts of time with just a few toys around you to keep you entertained.

You are starting to learn that if you cry when I walk away, I will come back to you. I can see the little wheels turning in your brain about this theory. Especially when I lay you down in your crib. Your little head will pop up and look over the bumper as I walk out. If you fuss enough, you know I will come back to you. I try not to mind right now because you are growing up so fast and I know it won't be that way forever. 

You just started learning how to chew. Compared to your brother, you are such a little lady when it comes to food. You are hesitant and chew slowly. You always look at me, concerned about this new experience, but usually you warm up fast! Right now you seem to love peas, broccoli, and baby mum mums the best. Oh, and applesauce. Which you tend to get everywhere! But that's ok too, because you also love taking baths with your brother and splashing in the water.

Your hair is starting to grow in quickly now. I love how soft it is. You still have that perfect baby smell on the top of your head. It's my most favorite smell in the world. 

I love you so much, Sadie Quinn. I have a weakness for you and your little fragile, happy spirit. I hope you don't use it to your advantage too much someday! You are precious and so special, little girl.
